A beautiful day in Central Park, New York. For the first time ever, a work became just what I envisioned. I feel like it displays various aspects and ideals of American society . . . which I will leave to the interpretation of the viewer. And although I plan on submitting more work for the contest, I doubt I can capture something that [I feel] so well coincides with the theme and spirit of the competition.
Although I'm fully aware of its impossibility . . . to place in this contest would be a dream come true, especially if it involved being reunited with the DSLR I couldn't afford. Even to be a semifinalist and have something of mine viewed by Anton Corbijn would be the biggest honor . . . .
