Update: Can anyone help me locate the photographer of my Natalie Portman portrait reference? It would be far and beyond appreciated. I've looked at several archives and can't find any information.

UPDATE2: Craig McDean is his name. Thank you IMDb.

And ~
RonJS666 for his steadfast helpfulness.

I've done research on this, but everything is so scattered. I'm hoping someone who knows about this will reply.
So.
I'm preparing a college art supplement.
1.) Anyone have general advice? About what to include, what not to include? I'll take absolutely everything you have to offer. Personal experience, information websites, etc.
2.) This question makes me SO nervous, but . . . could I include some of my graphite portraits (Natalie Portman, Muse, etc.) even though the references are professional photographs?

Eeek. If not, I better get on some new ones. But what references could I use? Because I most definitely would not be able to get such beautiful pictures on my own.
3.) Supposing the answer to #2 is yes, would it be okay to include these portraits even though they have no creativity and only display my technical skills? Obviously, I'm working on a lot of creative work (junk), but graphite has taken up so much time and I've worked so hard to improve - I definitely want that to be recognized because of the dedication I've put into it.

So nervous. Really. Eh.
And I would LIKE to do a Viola audition as a musical art supplement but now that I'm dropping Symphony and haven't ever taken private lessons, I guess there's no way to get that one done.
And I was planning on seriously focusing on developing my painting/pastel skills this summer, but alas . . . here I am in Texas with three volunteer internships that create a full work week. BUT I have now gotten paint here with me and will practice as soon as I can . . .
I'll keep looking.
